Airtel recently launched prepaid plans that include a Netflix subscription bundle. This is said to be Bharti Airtel’s response to a similar plan launched by Jio earlier this year. Notably, Airtel and Jio are the only two network providers currently offering 5G connectivity to Indian users. Netflix bundles from both carriers also include unlimited 5G data. The two companies’ plans are similar in many ways. Here are details on all prepaid plans that offer a free Netflix subscription.

Airtel’s Netflix bundle prepaid plan is available for Rs. 1,499. The validity period is 84 days, and 3GB of 4G data is provided daily along with unlimited voice calls. It also offers unlimited 5G data beyond your plan limits, but only within areas with 5G access.Netflix Airtel Plan Netflix Plan

The newly launched Airtel prepaid package also includes access to the Netflix basic plan, which can be used on only one device at a time. However, you can use it on any device, including laptops, smartphones, tablets, and TVs. The Netflix plan is valid for a large plan period and allows users to stream content in 720p. The recharge also gives users access to Airtel Hello Tunes for free.

Jio, on the other hand, offers two plans that come with a free Netflix subscription. One is a prepaid plan worth Rs. 1,099 plan that offers 2GB of 5G data per day and a plan of Rs. 1,499 plan offers 3GB of data per day. This plan supports 100 SMS per day and unlimited voice calls.Netflix Jio Plans Jio Netflix Plans

Both of these Jio plans include the Netflix Basic subscription discussed earlier. Like Airtel plans, Jio prepaid plans are also valid for 84 days each. The Jio plan also offers unlimited 5G data in addition to the daily data pack.

With these plans, Airtel and Jio become the only two telecom operators in India to offer Netflix bundles with prepaid recharges. Previously, Netflix subscriptions were only available on postpaid plans.
