Samsung Galaxy F15 5G is about to be launched in India. Samsung is yet to announce an official launch date for the new F-series handsets, but the smartphone’s support page has been posted on the company’s India website with model number SM-E156B/DS. It has recently been spotted on some authentication platforms with similar model numbers. The Galaxy F15 5G is expected to be launched as a cheaper version of the Galaxy A15 5G. The latter was officially made official in December last year.

A support page for a Samsung phone with model number SM-E156B/DS, believed to be the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G, has been released on an Indian website. The page confirms that the phone will support 5G and dual SIM, without sharing any specifications or images. The previously unannounced smartphone has surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with model number SM-E156B.

The Galaxy F15 5G is expected to launch as a slightly watered-down variant of the Galaxy A15 5G. The latter was launched in December with a starting price of Rs. 19,499 for the base model with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.

The specifications of the Galaxy F15 5G may be somewhat similar to the Galaxy A15 5G. It can hold a 6,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy A15 5G runs on One UI 5 based on Android 13 and features a 6.5-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 800 nits. It is powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset along with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage.

As for optics, the Galaxy A15 5G has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel shooter. It is equipped with a 13 million pixel front camera. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
