Director Celine Song, who directed the movie ‘Fast Lives’

(Seoul = Larose.VIP) Reporter Oh Bo-ram = Korean-Canadian director Celine Song, who is causing a sensation at major U.S. awards ceremonies with her debut film ‘Fast Lives’, is visiting her home country this month.

CJ ENM, the distributor of ‘Fast Lives’, announced on the 13th that Director Song will visit Korea and attend a two-day press conference, interview, and audience discussion (GV) on the 28th and 29th.

Lead actor Teo Yoo will also accompany the event.

Director Song is the daughter of director Song Neung-han, who directed the film ‘Number 3’ (1997). She was born in Korea and lived there until elementary school, moving to Canada with her family at the age of 12.

Director Song’s first film, ‘Fast Lives’, which he wrote and directed based on his experience living in Korea, will be released in Korea on the 6th of next month.

It depicts the fateful story spanning 24 years between Na-young (Greta Lee), a woman who reconnects with a relationship she left behind in Seoul when she was young, and Hae-seong (Tae-oh Yoo), a man who came to New York to keep his bond with her.

This film, which received praise from American critics for its relatable story and sensuous visuals, is nominated for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay at the 96th Academy Awards to be held next month.

Director Song won several trophies with this film, including the Directors Guild of America (DGA) New Director Award, the National Association of Film Critics Award for Best Picture, and the Gosom Awards Best Picture Award.
