Klopp appealed to Rudiger to push for a move to Liverpool.

Liverpool are reportedly well placed to bring Antonio Rudiger back to the Premier League from Real Madrid, according to a strong claim in the Spanish media.

Manchester United is the number one team in the Premier League and is still surviving by participating in four competitions. This means that it will be a very successful season for the team led by Jurgen Klopp.

However, there are a number of holes in the Merseysiders’ squad that need filling next year, with Klopp reportedly set to prioritize at least two new signings to strengthen the defence.

Firstly, the club is looking for a long-term replacement for Joel Matip, who has suffered a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and may have played his last game for the club.

Secondly, Klopp knows that Virgil van Dijk will have to be replaced at some point, as he is now entering the autumn of his career at the age of 32, despite his best performances this season.

As a result, reports in Spain claim that Manchester United have made it known that they are keen on transfer talks. Rudiger We’re back in the Premier League.

The German defender is known as one of the most uncompromising and effective defenders in the world game, often using whatever approach is necessary to keep opposing teams close and achieve better results.

This made him a hugely popular player. Real MadridThe 30-year-old is considered one of the team’s leaders.

However, despite his current contract at the Bernabeu not expiring until 2026, Rudiger has reportedly requested a significant pay rise from Real Madrid to reflect his status and importance in the Los Blancos side.

And despite Saudi Arabia’s offer, the defender reportedly feels he has the right to demand a pay rise from Real.

Real have no fear of losing Rudiger to the Saudis, but claim Liverpool’s interest in their rivals makes them ‘nervous’.

To that end, it is claimed Klopp is ‘pressuring the Liverpool board’ to approach Rudiger, believing a deal will be done.

On the other hand, it is claimed that Rudiger himself is keen on a move and is desperate to link up with compatriot Klopp, who has his heart set on returning to the Premier League with Liverpool after previously excelling at Chelsea.

Klopp is still looking to sign Leroy Sane.

Liverpool are also still exploring a possible summer signing for Leroy Sane amid continued uncertainty over Mo Salah.

The Egyptian superstar begins the final 12 months of his contract this summer, meaning both he and Liverpool will have important decisions to make to determine what lies ahead.

Current signs indicate Salah will extend his stay at Anfield for a few more years, but the Reds continue to hold off until a new deal is signed.

And while there remains a chance that Salah could be lured away, United are wisely continuing to monitor Sane’s situation. Klopp is the player he would most realistically want to replace the Egyptian with.

The 28-year-old has established himself as one of the best wingers in the world, scoring 47 goals and providing 48 assists in 159 appearances for Bayern.

But with the Germany international also out of contract in 2025 and talks over an extension yet to be agreed, Bayern remain nervous they will have to cash in on the star this summer.

However, according to Sky Deutschland, Liverpool are not the only ones keeping a close eye on his situation, with Arsenal and Tottenham also said to be tracking him.
