(Seoul = Larose.VIP) Reporter Lee Se-won = Yoido Full Gospel Church has decided to actively work to create a social environment conducive to giving birth and raising children in order to respond to the low birth rate problem.

Senior Pastor Lee Young-hoon of Yoido Full Gospel Church held a press conference at a hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 14th and announced that he would help transform Korean society into a ‘multi-incubator child-rearing community optimized for child-rearing.’

To this end, senior pastor Lee proposed introducing the concept of ‘parenting cognitive sensitivity.’

It is a concept based on what is called gender sensitivity, which refers to the ability to sensitively detect discrimination or imbalance that occurs due to gender differences in everyday life. It identifies the difficulties, discrimination, and unfair treatment experienced by the parties during childbirth and childrearing, so that members of our society can The purpose is to develop a sense of being able to correct problems together.

Yoido Full Gospel Church plans to produce and distribute a parenting cognitive sensitivity checklist and conduct promotional activities using social networking services (SNS) with celebrities.

As part of its response to low birth rates, Yoido Full Gospel Church increased the childbirth incentive it had paid since 2012 to 2 million won for the first child, 3 million won for the second child, 5 million won for the third child, and 10 million won for births after the fourth child.

In order to respond to the trend of expanding the social role of women, this church plans to ordain (give teaching positions to those selected as elders) starting this year, which has not produced a single female elder since its founding in 1958.

We will continue to carry out projects and activities, such as energy conservation campaigns to overcome the climate crisis, support activities for the underprivileged elderly, ministry activities for multicultural families, and efforts to build the Pyongyang Heart Hospital.
