(Seoul = Larose.VIP) Reporter Park Sang-don = Seven central ministries and 17 metropolitan governments, including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and the Ministry of Government Legislation, held a ‘Council of Agencies for the Protection of Good Small Business Owners’ at the Sejong Government Complex on the 15th. The department said.

This council was established on the 8th to discuss ways to implement exemption from administrative measures more broadly to prevent this, following complaints from small business owners that there were unfair cases of being deceived by teenagers into selling alcohol and being suspended from business at the People’s Livelihood Debate.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety sent an official letter to local governments immediately after last week’s Public Livelihood Debate, requesting them to thoroughly investigate the objective facts regarding the business operator’s identity in case of discovery of providing alcohol to minors and then carefully decide whether to take administrative action or file a complaint. It was deliberated and resolved to enforce the administrative disposition exemption regulations before the revision of the law.

Government-related ministries decided to take this as a reference and make efforts to prevent small business owners from receiving unfair administrative measures in relation to youth identification in similar fields such as tobacco, lodging, and content provision in addition to alcohol.

In addition, 17 metropolitan governments decided to establish a cooperation system with the local Small and Medium Venture Business Administration so that administrative disposition exemptions can be implemented immediately on site and to actively disseminate administrative cases to basic local governments.

The government also decided to quickly push ahead with the revision of laws.

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, which are the ministries in charge of the Youth Protection Act, decided to revise the regulatory provisions related to youth identification included in the relevant laws within the first half of the year, and the Ministry of Government Legislation actively supported the entire legal review process to ensure that the revision process proceeds smoothly. I decided to do it.

The Public Health Management Act in the lodging sector, the Game Industry Promotion Act and the Performance Act in the content sector, etc. need to be revised to establish provisions for exemption from administrative dispositions. Accordingly, the Ministry of Government Legislation and the relevant ministries, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, decided to take the lead and cooperate closely with the National Assembly to ensure that the law revision is promoted as soon as possible.
