(Hongseong = Larose.VIP) Reporter Jeong Yun-deok = South Chungcheong Province announced on the 16th that Governor Kim Tae-heum, who is visiting Japan, met with Nara Prefecture Governor Makoto Yamashita in Tokyo on the 15th and agreed to hold a K-pop concert in Nara Prefecture next year.

The two governors also decided to promote a forum or symposium on the topic of Baekje.

This is based on the fact that South Chungcheong is the land of former Baekje, and Nara-hyeon was also greatly influenced by Baekje.

The two governors also agreed to devise a plan to exchange manager-level public officials and to strengthen friendship by visiting each other every year.

Governor Kim said, “Let’s continue the journey toward prosperity for Nara Prefecture and South Chungcheong Province,” and Governor Yamashita responded, “I hope that the relationship with Governor Kim will lead to the development of the relationship between the two regions and further the development of the relationship between the two countries.”

South Chungcheong Province and Nara Prefecture signed a friendship and cooperation agreement on October 26, 2011, and the number of exchanges over the past five years has reached 34 times.
