Apple announced Thursday the launch of a new “space game” designed to work with the company’s recently launched Apple Vision Pro headset. According to the company, the game is designed to run on VisionOS and is available to Apple Arcade subscribers. Users can interact with these games using hand gestures while viewing elements in an immersive mode using augmented reality (AR) technology. Meanwhile, mixed reality headsets also give you access to a total of 250 non-spatial titles.

The iPhone maker announced that 12 new space games are now available for Vision Pro through Apple Arcade. These include Bloons TD 6+, Cut the Rope 3, Game Room, Illustrated, Jetpack Joyride 2, LEGO Builder’s Journey, Patterned, Stitch., Super Fruit Ninja, Synth Riders, What the Golf? and Wylde Flowers.

Apple also demonstrated how some of these games work on the Vision Pro, with gestures controlled by hand movements and finger gestures. These include moving chess pieces, lifting cards with your finger, cutting virtual fruit, catching musical notes, and more.

The company says more space games will be coming to Vision Pro owners soon. These include Alto’s Odyssey: The Lost City, Gibbon: Beyond the Trees, and Spire Blast. Like the previously mentioned titles, users can access it through Apple Arcade.

This game is only available to customers with an Apple Arcade or Apple One subscription. An Apple Arcade subscription costs $6.99 (approximately Rs. 580) in the US, while a personal Apple One subscription costs $19.95 (approximately Rs. 1,650) per month.

Even as Apple releases more content about Vision Pro, a recent report shows a trend of Apple Vision Pro customers claiming to have returned their recently purchased headsets via social media platforms as the company’s 14-day return period expires. appeared to have increased. Buyers reportedly claim the headset is too heavy. It can weigh up to 650g with a 353g battery connected via cable.
