The new general manager, Jeong, who received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in technology management from Columbia University, joined CJ Corporation’s U.S. regional headquarters in 2010 and served as the head of the division and managing director, and until recently led the Global Integration Office of CJ Corporation.

He was responsible for CJ CheilJedang’s acquisition of American food company Schwan’s and strengthening business synergies, and also participated in CJ ENM’s acquisition of American studio Fifth Season and post-acquisition integration (PMI).

In particular, he served as a director of Fifth Season and was recognized as the right person for his experience and understanding of the global content market.

In the future, new General Manager Jeong plans to oversee CJ ENM’s entertainment business division, global, and content distribution business, and focus on strengthening content planning and production capabilities and expanding domestic and overseas distribution networks.

In this appointment, Director Lee Kyung-hoo (39), head of the brand strategy department, who is the spouse of the new general manager Jeong, will also serve as the newly established CCO (Chief Creative Officer) of the Music Content Business Division and will oversee music content, artist business, platform, and global business.

Director Kyung-hoo Lee has been in charge of CJ ENM’s brand strategy and leading the music content business since 2018.
