Xiaomi 14 India launch date has been officially confirmed. The Chinese manufacturer confirmed the release date through a post from X. Previously, the company had teased the Leica partnership on the official Xiaomi India X page. The Xiaomi 14 series is also scheduled to be released globally on February 25th during the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Xiaomi originally unveiled the phone in China in October last year. Meanwhile, Xiaomi 14 Ultra has also been confirmed to be released in China on February 22nd.

In a post about X, Xiaomi India confirmed that Xiaomi 14 will be launched in India on March 7. India is likely to receive the phone two weeks after its global launch and a few months after it was unveiled in China. According to the teaser shared by Xiaomi, it looks like we will only get the vanilla Xiaomi 14 in India. Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Pro may not launch in India.

Xiaomi 14 in China is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and has a 6.36-inch LTPO display with 1.5K resolution and adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The Indian model is also expected to have similar specifications. You get up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

In the camera department, co-engineered with Leica, Xiaomi 14 in China features a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and Summilux lens. There is also a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and another 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The handset also boasts an IP68 rating. It is equipped with a 4,610mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Earlier today, Xiaomi confirmed that it will unveil the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China later this week. The Ultra variant features a 1-inch 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 sensor with f/1.63 aperture and Leica Summilux optics. It is also confirmed that it will feature a dual telephoto camera using a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensor.
