The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will soon be launched in China and will be unveiled globally at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona later this month. The design and color options of the phone, along with some key camera details, have been confirmed by the company ahead of its reveal. In China, this model will be unveiled alongside the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, while globally it will be introduced alongside the global launch of the base Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models.

The company confirmed in a Weibo post that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will launch in China on February 22 at 7 PM local time (4:30 PM IST). An event page for this is also posted on the Xiaomi China website. It has also been confirmed that it will be unveiled alongside the base and Pro Xiaomi 14 models at MWC 2024 on February 25.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed in a post about the X that the phone will be launched in black and white colors. The design revealed in the image shared by Jun shows a large, protruding circular camera module on the faux leather back panel to hold the four rear camera sensors.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is confirmed to feature a 1-inch 50-megapixel LYT900 sensor with f/1.63 aperture and “new Leica Summilux optical lens.” It also features two telephoto cameras with 50-megapixel IMX858 sensors (focal lengths of 75mm and 120mm, aperture apertures f/1.8 and f/2.5). The fourth rear camera is expected to be an ultra-wide camera.

Previous leaks claimed that Xiaomi 14 Ultra, like the other two models in the Xiaomi 14 series, will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and ship with HyperOS based on Android 14. It is likely to feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display and a 5,180mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Previously, the 16GB + 512GB option of Xiaomi 14 Ultra was expected to be priced at EUR 1,499 (approximately Rs. 1,33,600). The phone may also be launched in 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 1TB configurations.
