Realme 12+ 5G may launch in India soon, a new leak suggests. The smartphone will join Realme 12 Pro+ 5G and Realme 12 Pro 5G, which were launched on January 29. The phone runs on Realme UI 5.0 skin based on Android 14 and sports a 50-megapixel primary shooter. Previously, the Realme 12+ 5G was scheduled to launch in Malaysia on February 29, but now a tipster has shared the India retail box of the phone, hinting at an imminent India launch.

In a post on X (previously known as Twitter), tipster Ishan Agarwal shared an image of what appears to be the box of the Realme 12+ 5G. He called it the India retail box and added that the phone will be launched in India “soon”. In particular, a smartphone landing page was also posted on the company’s Indian website. The page doesn’t list the name of the smartphone, but the “One More Plus” in the URL hints at the phone’s possible launch. The smartphone in green faux leather finish can also be seen with a teaser of some of its features.

The yellow box shared by the tipster has a large 12+ written on the front. The back shows the full name Realme 12+ 5G along with some specifications. According to the images, the phone will feature a Sony LYT-600 OIS camera, MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G chipset, 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging support, and a 120Hz AMOLED display.

We have also shared some key specifications in our previous report. However, there is one discrepancy. The Geekbench listing of the phone revealed its codename MT6877V/TTZA, suggesting that the phone will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. However, this is not what the newly leaked retail box shows. The rest of the specifications are similar. Realme 12+ 5G is expected to feature a 6.7-inch full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) AMOLED screen. It may come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

As for optics, it could be equipped with a triple rear camera unit consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front is expected to be equipped with a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls.
