As a result, six cases of failing to conduct health examinations of business operators or workers were discovered.

In addition, failure to label all or part of the labeling (4 cases), false labeling of parts of packaged meat (1 case), violation of livestock product packaging regulations (1 case), failure to complete livestock product hygiene training for business operators (1 case), unhygienic management of livestock products (1 case) Cases), failure to fill out transaction statements (1 case), failure to display livestock product history numbers (1 case), false labeling of livestock product history numbers (1 case), and displaying livestock products for the purpose of selling past their expiration date (1 case) were identified.

The city requested administrative measures (business suspension and fines) from the relevant autonomous district for these violative businesses.

The city also collected 69 items, including Korean beef gift sets and beef for ancestral rites, that were being distributed on the market and examined them at the Seoul Health and Environment Research Institute. As a result, 7 products with incorrect labeling (DNA mismatch) were found, and administrative measures were taken to each competent agency. He added that he requested it.

Kim Tae-hee, director of the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Citizen Health Bureau, said, “We will continue to strengthen surveillance activities and do our best to create a livestock product distribution environment where citizens can feel safe.”
