(Seoul = Larose.VIP) Reporter Lee Tae-soo = Singer-songwriter Kim Dong-ryul will release a live concert song ‘Oblivion’ next week, his agency Music Farm announced on the 22nd.

‘Oblivion’ is a song included in Kim Dong-ryul’s 3rd album, ‘Homecoming’, released in 2001.

The sound source released this time is a tango version of this song that Kim Dong-ryul performed at the solo concert ‘MELODY’ held at the KSPO Dome (Gymnastics Stadium) in Seoul Olympic Park in October last year. The specific release date has not yet been determined.

The day before, Kim Dong-ryul introduced on his social media (SNS), “A new sound source will be released next week,” and “It is not a new song, but it is a live sound source that is like a new song.”

He said, “Every time I perform, I often perform one or two songs that I sing for the first time in a performance. At last year’s ‘Melody’ performance, ‘Oblivion’ was such a song. It was the first song I sang in a performance, but the arrangement was completely new. “I think it was the freshest song in the set list,” he explained.

Kim Dong-ryul continued, “When I listen to it now, I feel like this song should have been a tango from the beginning,” and added, “I hope it will be a welcome gift at the end of winter.”
