Chairman Roh made this announcement at the ‘79th Annual General Meeting of the Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio Association’ held at the Bangbae-dong Hall in Seocho-gu, Seoul on this day.

He emphasized, “The situation at home and abroad is changing rapidly, and the economic situation is not easy, but I believe that if we support the cooperation of member companies, the efforts of the industry, and the government’s strategic development and support, we can provide a turning point to leap forward as a global advanced industry.” .

On this day, the association deliberated on major agenda items such as this year’s business plan and budget at the general meeting and also held an inauguration ceremony for the next chairman, Woong-seop Yoon (Vice Chairman of Ildong Pharmaceutical), who will begin his two-year term starting next month.

In addition, the 5th Korea Pharmaceutical Industry Award was awarded to Kim Jeong-soo, former president of the Korea Pharmaceutical Association, and award plaques were presented to three former presidents and board chairs of the association, including former president Won Hee-mok, former presidents Heo Il-seop and Cho Sun-tae, who are turning 70 this year.
