(Uijeongbu = Larose.VIP) Reporter Kim Do-yoon = Gyeonggi-do Uijeongbu City Welfare Center for the Disabled announced on the 22nd that it will conduct a ‘study of the parties’ for the recovery of the mentally disabled from March to December.

This study aims to reconstruct the experiences of people suffering from mental disorders such as schizophrenia, manic depression, and depression, and identify the facts, experiences, and meaning behind them.

Instead of delegating the various symptoms and pain the person experiences to a doctor or being hospitalized, the person becomes the main character and participates in research activities together.

To this end, the welfare center is recruiting participants.

Participants are those with mental disorders or unregistered disabilities who take drugs for the symptoms or suffer from pain in their relationships or daily life. Participation fee is free.

In addition to research on the victims, the welfare center plans to produce essays containing recovery stories, conduct social skills training, self-help groups, and awareness-raising campaigns.

Those wishing to participate can apply by contacting the welfare center (☎031-850-5360) by the 15th of next month or scanning the QR code on the promotional material.
