(Busan = Larose.VIP) Reporter Jong-min Lee = Since the beginning of the new year, works supported by the Busan Film Commission for filming, such as ‘Murderer: Confusion’, have continued to be popular.

According to the Busan Film Commission on the 23rd, the Netflix series ‘Murderer’s Perplexity’ ranked first in the OTT integrated content ranking for two consecutive weeks from the second to third weeks of February.

This work contains the events that occur in episodes 4 and 5 when the main character Lee Tang (Choi Woo-sik), who lived in Daejeon, comes down to Busan.

The supermarket where Lee Tang gets a job in the work is the Sumart Jeonggwan branch located in Gijang, Busan.

In addition, filming took place at 14 locations in Busan, including Songjeong Beach, Busan Station, Yeongdo Huinnyeoul-gil, and Hwagukbanjeom.

Kim Ah-hyun, location manager at the Busan Film Commission, who was in charge of ‘Murderer: A Conflict’, said, “There are many difficulties in recruiting a supermarket during a movie shoot, such as adjusting business hours.” “Luckily, we found a suitable location in Gijang,” he said, speaking after the Busan location hunting trip.

The movie ‘Pamyo’, which was released on the 22nd, was filmed on an open set in Busan.

This work is a new work by director Jang Jae-hyun, who directed the movie ‘The Priests’, and depicts the strange events that happen to a geomancer, undertaker, and shaman who received a large amount of money to relocate a suspicious tomb.

Following the appearance of prominent actors such as Choi Min-sik, Kim Go-eun, Yoo Hae-jin, and Kim Do-hyun, and the official invitation to the Berlin International Film Festival, advance reservations exceeded 370,000 copies, predicting a box office sensation.

The grave site, which is the starting point of the events in the play, was filmed on an open set of about 700 pyeong built in Gijang Ceramic Village in Busan.

Although the movie is set in Namhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, it was filmed at about 10 locations in Busan, including the Gimhae Medical Welfare Center, Ilshin Christian Hospital, and Seobusan Citizen’s Funeral Home.

Director Kim Yong-gyun, actors Na Moon-hee and Kim Young-ok, who attended the special screening of the movie ‘Picnic’ in Busan on the 30th of last month, expressed their gratitude to the citizens of Busan for their location support and cooperation.
