Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G will be launched in India soon. The company has officially introduced the phone and announced the release schedule of the phone. Some camera details of the upcoming model have also been revealed. The phone is said to succeed the Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G, which was launched alongside the Realme Narzo 60 5G in India in July 2023. Realme is yet to confirm whether there will be a base Realme Narzo 70 5G version.

Realme India announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G will launch in India in March. The teaser video shows a large, slightly raised, circular, centrally placed camera module equipped with a triple rear camera unit that supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

The post also links to an Amazon microsite that checks the model’s final Amazon availability. It has also been revealed that the phone will feature a 1/1.56-inch 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary rear sensor. We expect to learn more about the phone closer to launch.

The Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G could be a rebadged version of the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G as the Realme Narzo 60 Pro model is said to be a rebranded version of the Realme 11 Pro series model. For this, the company may change a few elements of the Realme 12 Pro+. For example, the Narzo 70 Pro appears without a telephoto camera in the teaser image, unlike the triple rear camera unit on the Realme 12 Pro+. This could be a noticeable difference and could even help bring down the price of the upcoming phone.

Notably, the Realme 12 Pro+ was launched with the same 1/1.56-inch 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor that the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G was confirmed to feature. However, the Realme 12 Pro+ also features a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.

On the other hand, Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G has a 100-megapixel OmniVision primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It is also equipped with a 16 million pixel front camera sensor. This model has been launched in India for Rs. 23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB option, while the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 1TB variants are priced at Rs. 26,999 and Rs. 29,999 each.
