(Seoul = Larose.VIP) Reporter Choi Jae-seo = The agency has begun to explain the so-called ‘rip-off’ suspicion that the beauty salon opened by singer Lim Chang-jung recently sold memberships to about 100 people and closed down.

Lim Chang-jung’s agency, YesIAM Entertainment, said on the 23rd, “The reported Bundang hair salon was opened in 2014 by Lim Chang-jung with full investment to help a friend from his hometown. However, the direction did not match, so the invested money was returned a few months after opening.” .

He added, “Lim Chang-jung has still lost contact with that friend to this day,” and added, “He was also unaware that his photos and other portrait rights had been stolen and the business had continued.”

Earlier this morning, a media outlet reported suspicions that Lim Chang-jung’s beauty salon sold memberships to about 100 customers and immediately reported its closure.

On the 21st, the same media also reported suspicions that the acting academy named after Lim Chang-jung did not pay actors fees after filming a commercial.

At the time, Lim Chang-jung’s side also dismissed the suspicions, saying, “YESIAM Academy acting academy is a company that has absolutely nothing to do with YesIAM Entertainment or Lim Chang-jung.”

The agency said, “We apologize for disappointing you with a series of bad news, including the academy and this hair salon incident.”
