Armed Forces Capital Hospital opens emergency room

(Seoul = Larose.VIP) Reporter Kim Jun-tae = The Ministry of National Defense announced that a total of 32 civilians had been treated at military hospitals as of noon on the 24th, the fifth day since military hospital emergency rooms were opened, an increase of 6 from the previous day.

18 at Armed Forces Capital Hospital in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, 7 at Daejeon Armed Forces Hospital, 1 at Yangju Armed Forces Hospital, 1 at Armed Forces Pocheon Hospital, 1 at Armed Forces Gangneung Hospital, 1 at Armed Forces Hongcheon Hospital, 3 at Armed Forces Seoul District Hospital People received medical treatment.

The Ministry of National Defense opened the emergency rooms of 12 military hospitals to the public starting on the 20th in response to a group movement by doctors, including medical residents, who opposed the expansion of medical school admissions.

Military hospitals with open emergency rooms include Armed Forces Gangneung Hospital under the Armed Forces Medical Command, Armed Forces Chuncheon Hospital, Armed Forces Hongcheon Hospital, Armed Forces Goyang Hospital, Armed Forces Yangju Hospital, Armed Forces Pocheon Hospital, Armed Forces Seoul District Hospital, Armed Forces Capital Hospital, Armed Forces Daejeon Hospital and Gyeongnam Armed Forces Hospital under the Navy. These include the Naval Marine Medical Center in Changwon, Naval Pohang Hospital, and the Air Force Aerospace Medical Center in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, which are affiliated with the Air Force.
