The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series is expected to be released along with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldables later this year. The company has yet to confirm the product launch, but several rumors have been circulating about the product over the past few weeks. The Galaxy Watch 7 lineup will reportedly be launched in three variants, each with different connectivity options. Now, a report has emerged claiming that the battery details of the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro have been leaked.

A GalaxyClub report found battery details for the upcoming smartwatch on the Safety Korea certification site. The battery with model number EB-BL705ABY was listed as having a rated capacity of 578 mAh. This is larger than the rated capacity of the 573mAh rated battery installed in the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and sold as 590mAh.

Therefore, a smartwatch with a larger battery than the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro could be the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro. According to previous reports, the Galaxy Watch 7 series is expected to launch in three variants, one of which is likely to be the Pro model. In particular, the Galaxy Watch 6 series was launched in July 2023 based on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 lineup is said to come with a Wi-Fi-only model and an eSIM-capable model. The former is expected to be released with model numbers SM-L300 and SM-L305, and the latter is known to be released with model numbers SM-L310 and SM-L315. The top-end third variant, expected to be the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro, is likely to carry model numbers SM-L700 and SM-L705. All model numbers ending with the number 5 will likely support cellular and eSIM connectivity, while other models will likely only support Wi-Fi.

The Galaxy Watch 7 model is expected to feature 32GB of onboard storage, which is a significant upgrade compared to the 16GB of the Galaxy Watch 6 model. The purported smartwatch is expected to run on a new version of Wear OS and One UI Watch, and is expected to come with an upgraded 3nm chipset that will be 50% more power efficient than the current one.
