HTech joined hands with India’s nStore. nStore is a participant in the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) network, and the new collaboration will enable HTech to use its smartphones, smartwatches and earphones on the ONDC network in the country. This latest development will allow shoppers in India to purchase Honor products through the Paytm app. Honor’s smartphones are currently sold in the country through Amazon and Flipkart.
HTech offers Honor Phone to customers through ONDC
HTech, Honor’s Indian distributor, announced its partnership with nStore on Thursday. As mentioned earlier, this move will give shoppers access to Honor’s entire product range through the Paytm app. The brand is offering Honor X9b smartphone, Honor Choice Earbuds X5 and Honor Choice Watch through its app. Honor’s future products have also been confirmed to be available on the ONDC network.
Some Honor devices are already available for purchase through Amazon and Flipkart. With this expansion, the brand aims to meet the local needs of its customers. “With the ONDC network, we are confident that we will be able to meet the local needs of our customers by not only improving our overall reach but also providing access to best-in-class features and functionality across our product lineup,” said HTech CEO Madhav Sheth. HTech expands smartphone portfolio in India
Honor returned to the Indian market after three years in September 2023 with the launch of Honor 90 5G through HTech. The brand is actively working to expand its domestic product portfolio. The China-exclusive Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro smartphones are expected to be released in Korea soon. The Honor 200 5G lineup has also been confirmed to be released soon. However, the release date has not been revealed yet.
Last month, Sheth hinted that a foldable product would be launched in the country. Honor’s latest foldable series includes the regular Honor Magic V2 and Honor Magic V2 RSR. It runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
