According to recent reports, the iPhone 16 Pro Max could launch later this year with a larger display compared to Apple’s current-generation flagship smartphone. Now, a dummy device image of the phone has been leaked online along with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to an image shared by a tipster on X (formerly Twitter), this year’s phones may have slightly larger screens. Apple’s iPhone 16 series is expected to feature a dedicated ‘Capture’ button, which can also be seen in leaked photos.

A tipster known as Majin Bu (X: @MajunBuOfficial) has leaked three images of the rumored iPhone 16 Pro Max. The image includes a dummy device of the handset alongside the company’s current-gen flagship, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, for comparison. According to reports, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a 6.9-inch display. This means that the screen is expected to be 0.2mm larger than the previous model.

Although the images show a slight increase in size, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is unlikely to be much larger than the current-generation iPhone 15 Pro Max. The dummy device doesn’t give us any idea about the bezels or whether the company can offer a higher resolution with an upgraded display.

The leaked dummy unit appears to have a slightly larger rear camera module than the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s already large module. However, based on the leaked dummy unit images, it is still too early to tell whether the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a larger or larger rear camera.

Another hardware addition to the iPhone 16 series, Apple’s rumored capture button can also be seen on the iPhone 16 Pro Max dummy unit. Previous reports suggested that all four models in the iPhone 16 lineup will likely be equipped with new buttons, and the action buttons from the iPhone 15 Pro models could also make their way to this year’s iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
