Barcelona striker Vitor Roque is set to join Manchester United this summer after selling the La Liga giants, strong reports from Spain and Brazil now claim.
The teenager joined Barcelona from Athletico Paranaense in January 2024 after a lengthy pursuit by the Blaugrana. The 19-year-old, who arrived with high expectations and was tipped as the next big thing to come out of Brazil, signed a seven-and-a-half-year contract that included a release clause of a whopping €500m.
But just a few months later, the La Liga giants radically changed their plans, saying they were ready to move the player on after scoring two goals in just 13 appearances.
With his time at the Nou Camp running out, his agent has reportedly expressed his anger over the situation to both Xavi Hernández and sporting director Deco, who has ignored the complaints and has now decided to cash in on the star.
As a result, AS reports that the decision has been made to let the teenager walk away, with his name now being circulated to a number of potential suitors.
Strong interest in his signature has reportedly come from Chelsea, who are looking for a new striker Flamengo are looking for a replacement for Gabriel Barbossa, and Napoli, who are planning life after Victor Osimhen.
However, the biggest interest in Vitor Roque comes from the Red Devils, with talks reportedly already underway with his agent over a move to Old Trafford.
