The CMF By Nothing Phone 1 is believed to be the soon to be released first phone from Carl Pei’s Nothing sub-brand CMF. The brand is yet to confirm the name, but prior to this, a tipster had leaked the specifications and pricing of the phone, suggesting that it would be a rebranded Nothing Phone 2a. The CMF By Nothing Phone 1 is said to feature a 6.67-inch OLED screen and MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.
Tipster @realMlgmXyysd suggested the price and specifications of CMF by Nothing Phone 1 on X. The tipster claims that the product will be launched in July with a price range of $249 to $279 (Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 23,000). It is said to have a replaceable plastic back cover and may lack the LED-lit Glyph interface. Hardware details of the handset indicate that it could be a rebranded version of the Nothing Phone 2a with a different design.
The CMF of the Nothing Phone 1 is expected to run on MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC along with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, the same chipset as the Nothing Phone 2a. It is said to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Phone 2a has a slightly larger 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. It may come with Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14.
The company is said to have unveiled the CMF by Nothing Phone 1 in 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage options with support for microSD cards. It may feature a dual rear camera setup, powered by a 50-megapixel primary camera. It is reported to be equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
Like the Phone 2a, the CMF by Nothing Phone 1 is designed to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It may offer Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity options.
The CMF of Nothing Phone 1 is said to be equipped with model number A015. They come in black, blue, green and orange colors depending on the leak. The orange color is said to be exclusive to the Indian market.
