It is reported that Apple is preparing the 4th generation iPhone SE. Touted as the successor to the iPhone SE (2022), the budget iPhone is believed to bring a design overhaul and exciting new features, although no release date has been set yet. Now, a tipster suggests that the iPhone SE 4 will be priced slightly higher than the existing model. The iPhone SE4 is expected to adopt the design of the iPhone 14 and be equipped with a larger battery along with support for Face ID.
X’s Tipster J. Reve (@Revegnus1) claims that Apple will keep the price of the iPhone SE 4 below $500 (approximately Rs. 41,000). iPhone SE (2022) has been revealed with a starting price of $429 (approximately Rs. 35,000). According to the tipster, the US launch price may remain at $429 or rise by around 10%. Even if the price increases, Apple can keep it within the $499 price range.
Apple is rumored to launch the iPhone SE 4 in 2025 with a 48-megapixel primary rear camera. It is likely to feature a 6.1-inch LTPS OLED screen similar to the iPhone 14 and a 3,279mAh battery. It is expected to include Face ID. There’s also Apple’s own 5G modem chip. It will likely include a USB Type-C port for charging and will measure 147.7×71.5×7.7mm.
iPhone SE was first released in 2016. The third version of iPhone SE has been announced in India in 2022 with a starting price of Rs. 43,900 for the base 64GB model.
iPhone SE (2022) runs on Apple’s A15 Bionic SoC and sports a 4.7-inch Retina HD display. There is a single 12-megapixel camera sensor on the back and a single 7-megapixel camera sensor on the front.
