The Vivo S18 series was launched in China last year, with the standard and Pro models sporting an AMOLED screen and a 50-megapixel main camera. The Chinese smartphone brand has now confirmed that the Vivo S19 series will be launched this month. It will be launched alongside the Vivo Watch GT. Vivo has been teasing the design of its upcoming phone through its social media handles. They also shared a camera sample demonstrating its capabilities.

Vivo S19 Series Release Date

The Vivo S19 series and Vivo Watch GT China release dates have been revealed on Vivo’s Weibo page. The event will be held on May 30 at 7 PM CST Asia (4:30 PM IST). The company also posted a teaser image on its official Chinese website showing the phone’s Aura Lite rear camera setup with support for optical image stabilization (OIS). The Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro are confirmed to be available in three color options: Misty Green, Peach Blossom Fan, and Qianshan Green (Chinese translation). Meanwhile, the Vivo Watch GT comes in four colors with a square display.

Vivo also shared a few camera samples of the Vivo S19 Duo on Weibo. This sample demonstrates the advancement of cameras in image sensors. It has been confirmed to feature a full-focus portrait camera with five focal lengths.

Additionally, Vivo’s Vice President Jia Jingdon announced that the Vivo S19 series will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main camera and a 50-megapixel Sony telephoto portrait camera.

Vivo S19 Series Specifications (Expected)

Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro are expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. The former could run on MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, while the latter could get Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC under the hood. While the standard model is likely to feature a 6,000mAh battery, the Pro model could feature a 5,500mAh battery. It is expected to support 80W fast charging.
