Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition has been launched in India. This phone has a unique design with a combination of red, yellow, and blue colors. It comes in a single 12GB RAM + 256GB configuration and is scheduled to be launched in the first week of June in the country. Aside from the new design, the hardware details of the Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition are identical to the standard Phone 2a (review) released since March. It runs on MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC and sports dual rear cameras.

The Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition is priced at Rs. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs $27,999. This limited time offer offers nothing but Rs. Customers can purchase the Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition directly from the Nothing Soho store in London from 11am on 1 June.

Nothing Phone 2a special edition design
The Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition is based on the white color variant of the regular model. However, the back panel has red, yellow and blue color accents. The brand describes its design as a ‘color story’. There are gray colored sections around the camera module and waist. We have never used these colors individually in a product before. The brand used red on the right earbud of all Nothing audio products, yellow on the new Ear(a) and blue on the Phone 2a Blue version. The London-based company said in a press release that this is the first time red, yellow and blue colors have been featured on a single device.

Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition features a 6.7-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,412 pixels) AMOLED display with adaptive refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone features an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC paired with 12GB RAM.
As for optics, the Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition has a dual rear camera setup, including a 1/1.56-inch sized 50-megapixel sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. A 32-megapixel selfie camera is installed on the front.
It has 256GB of built-in storage and an IP54-rated dust and water resistant construction. The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner and also supports face unlock. The Phone 2a is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
