iQoo 12 Pro and iQoo 12, equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, were launched in China in November last year. Now, the Vivo sub-brand is reportedly working on the iQoo 13 with a tipster suggesting that there will be no Pro model this year. The leak also sheds some light on the rumored specs of the iQoo 13. The standard variant is expected to feature a 2K resolution display and may be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.

Tipster Digital Chat Station (Chinese translation) on Weibo posted details about the upcoming iQoo flagship smartphone. The informant’s answer to the question suggests that he is talking about the standard iQoo 13. The product is said to boast a 2K resolution display and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. It could run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC and will likely have an IP68 certified build.

DCS does not provide details about the phone’s release schedule, but hinted that if the iQoo 13 comes with these proposed specifications, the Pro model will be dropped from the series.

The iQoo 13 is expected to be one of the first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The iQoo 12 series was one of the first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC last year. The global launch of the upcoming phone may be delayed by a few weeks compared to its Chinese launch.

The iQoo 12 series was launched in China in November 2023. A month later, the vanilla iQoo 12 was launched in India at a price of Rs. 52,999 for the 12GB + 256GB configuration.

iQoo 12 features a 6.78-inch Quad HD (1,260×2,800 pixels) LTPO AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate. It features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging.
