Liverpool are getting closer to signing the Serie A and Primeira Liga player, the Brighton striker has revealed he wants to play for Manchester City and Monday’s Euro Paper Talk includes Chelsea pursuing the Paris Saint-Germain ace.

Liverpool made a big effort to sign Juventus’ Federico Chiesa, while the Reds reportedly ‘stepped up’ their efforts to recruit the Argentine star.
Chiesa has long been linked with a move to Anfield as Liverpool look to bolster their attacking ranks and prepare for life after starlet Mo Salah.
So far, Chiesa has remained at Juve despite speculation that Liverpool would make contact with him.
The left winger, who can also play on the right wing or as a centre-forward, has been in contract discussions with Juve as his current deal is set to expire in June 2025.
The Italian giants have been trying to put an end to exit rumors once and for all by tying down Chiesa to new terms.
But new reports from Italy suggest talks between the two parties have reached a deadlock and it looks increasingly likely that Chiesa will move this summer.

Liverpool are on guard after Juve were forced to lower their price tag for the 26-year-old.
He was previously valued at more than £50m, but Liverpool can now complete a deal for just £25m (£21m).

Juve would prefer to sell Chiesa cheaply rather than let him leave on a free transfer next summer.
Liverpool saving big money for the Italian ace will also help them in their efforts to improve their midfield.
Last weekend, it was revealed that Liverpool had begun talks with Porto over the signing of 22-year-old midfielder Alan Barella.
According to journalist Eduardo Burgos, who specializes in South American football, Liverpool bosses Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes have ‘intensified’ their interest in Varela.
The Argentina U23 international, who can play as a number 6 or number 8, has also been linked with Arsenal and Newcastle United.
But Liverpool are hoping to fend off their Premier League rivals by signing Barella first.
Barella’s Porto contract includes a massive release clause worth €70m (£60m), leaving Liverpool open to signing him and Chiesa in a double deal worth £81m.
However, Edwards and Hughes will try to persuade Porto to lower the price for Varela.
