Realme GT 7 Pro is the successor to Realme GT 5 Pro and is expected to launch in India later this year. The company is yet to announce the release date of the smartphone or reveal any other details about it. However, key features of the upcoming phone were recently revealed online. It is expected to be one of the first smartphones to feature Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon chipset. Now, a tipster has hinted at the camera and fingerprint sensor specifications of the Realme GT 7 Pro.

Realme GT 7 Pro Specifications (Expected)

According to a Weibo post by tipster Smart Pikachu, the Realme GT 7 Pro may feature a periscope telephoto camera that is expected to offer high optical zoom levels. He added that soon-to-be-released smartphones are also likely to be equipped with an ultrasonic display fingerprint recognition sensor for security. This is claimed to provide better and more accurate fingerprint reading compared to optical scanners.

Previously, there was information that the Realme GT 7 Pro would be launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which Qualcomm has not yet announced. The chipset is expected to be unveiled in October this year. Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are expected to be the first phones to be launched in China with this chipset. The Realme handset may not be the first smartphone to feature this SoC in China, but it could be the first smartphone to feature this chip in the global market outside of China.

Realme GT 7 Pro release schedule (expected)

The Realme GT 7 Pro is said to be launched as the successor to the Realme GT 5 Pro, which was launched in December 2023. If this year’s release cycle follows a similar pattern, the upcoming Realme GT 7 Pro might be unveiled in December this year. .

Notably, the company is expected to launch the Realme GT 6 on June 20 not only in India but globally.
