Apple will preview iOS 18 at its annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2024 in June, ahead of its general release this September. The next-generation iPhone operating system could bring new generative AI features and design innovations. Now, a new leak shows a list of iPhone models that will be compatible with iOS 18. iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max models are said to support iOS 18. According to a now-deleted X post by Aaron (@aaronp613) (available via MacRumors), iOS 18 is compatible with iPhone XR and later models. In addition to all models of the latest iPhone 15 series and iPhone 14 series, the iPhone 13 series and iPhone 12 series are also expected to support iOS 18.

According to the leak, these devices are compatible with iOS 18 (iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPhone). 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone SE (2nd generation), iPhone SE (3rd generation).

If the rumors turn out to be true, iOS 18 will be available for all devices currently running iOS 17, which will bring a smile to users of older iPhone models.

It is believed that Apple will introduce iOS 18 at WWDC 2024, which is usually held every year in June.
