Arsenal and Newcastle United have joined Liverpool in the race to sign the glittering forward from Spain. One of Europe’s biggest clubs is keen to sign the Everton ace, and Monday’s Euro Paper Talk features the Manchester United target talking about his possible next move.

Three prestigious players want LA Liga ace

Liverpool They will now face plenty of competition to sign the Real Sociedad star. Takefusa Kubolike arsenal and Newcastle It is known that they are preparing a large offer to get him first.

Liverpool may need to sign a new right-winger in one of the next few transfer windows, with Al Ittihad opting to take Mo Salah away from Anfield.

Reds officials have begun a search for a potential successor to the lethal Egyptian, with Kubo emerging as an option.

The Japan international, who is left-footed and likes to cut inside from the right flank like Salah, has been in good form this season. He has scored seven goals and provided four assists in 30 games, establishing himself as Real Sociedad’s best player according to WhoScored. In fact, Kubo tops Sociedad’s charts in terms of shots per game (2), key passes per game (2.1) and dribbles per game (2).

Kubo is not yet as effective in front of goal as Salah, but the fact that he is only 22 years old means he has plenty of time to develop and become a top winger.

Kubo spent time at Barcelona’s academy but eventually moved from FC Tokyo to Real Madrid in July 2019. Madrid sold the wide man to Sociedad in the summer of 2022 after several loan spells.

Los Blancos have the option to re-sign Cubo but Liverpool received a boost on Friday when it was revealed that: Madrid won’t stand in the way of a deal.

But now Liverpool face two new threats. According to reports from Spain, Arsenal and Newcastle are the two clubs making moves to sign Kubo first.

Arsenal and Newcastle want to sign Kubo Takefusa

Both Arsenal and Newcastle have been impressed by his exciting performances this season and feel he will be a great addition to their respective squads.

Kubo is protected by a €60m (£51.3m) release clause at Sociedad, but that is unlikely to hinder Arsenal or Newcastle.

Mikel Arteta and Eddie Howe have both approved major offers for Kubo that are consistent with that exit clause.

Like most clubs in the Premier League, Arsenal and Newcastle had a very quiet January transfer window after seeing what happened to Everton. But things are expected to change come summer, with Arsenal and the Magpies poised to attack Sociedad with major offers.

Madrid will allow the Prem team to fight for their former player but will still benefit from his next move. This is because they included a 50% sell-on clause when selling Kubo to Sociedad, which could see them earn €30m (£25.6m).
