The CMF Watch Pro 2 is the successor to the CMF Watch Pro, which was unveiled in September 2023 and is likely to be released later this year. The purported smartwatch has not been officially announced yet, but there are reports that it could hit the market soon. The name has not been confirmed, but a new CMF model was recently discovered on a certification site, and it is expected to be the Watch Pro 2. It is highly likely that an upgraded model will be released compared to the CMF Watch Pro.

According to a 91Mobiles report, the smartwatch with model number D398 was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. This is presumed to be CMF Watch Pro 2. The listing did not reveal any other details about the smartwatch. However, the BIS certification suggests that an India launch is imminent.

In particular, the existing CMF Watch Pro was registered in BIS with model number D395. The similarity in numbering suggests that the upcoming smart wearable will be a successor to this first model. However, readers are advised to take information with a grain of salt, especially as it relates to names. Earlier this year, Nothing changed its naming standards for its audio products. CMF is a Nothing sub-brand, so it’s no surprise that they take the same approach for their catalog items.

Regardless of the name, the successor to the CMF Watch Pro will likely come with upgrades. Among other things, we expect to get a larger display or better battery life. CMF by Nothing’s next smartwatch could also see AI-based integration, a similar update to its existing audio product entries. We’ll likely learn more about the watch officially or through leaks and more listings in the coming weeks.

The CMF Watch Pro is currently available in India for Rs. It has a 3,999-inch square AMOLED screen, a 340mAh battery that provides up to 13 days of battery life, and is dust and water resistant with an IP68 rating.
