Liverpool could capitalize on Manchester United’s mistakes by signing the Dutch star this summer, Bayern Munich have been tipped to complete their surprise attack on Chelsea, and Tuesday’s Euro Paper Talk had an update on the Aston Villa player’s future. Included.

Star excited about Liverpool links

Netherlands international Justin Below has admitted he is ‘ambitious’ over talk of a possible move to Liverpool or Arsenal this summer after previously seeing a move to Manchester United fall through.

Below is a 26-year-old goalkeeper who was born in Rotterdam and played his entire career at Feyenoord. He has made 143 appearances for the Dutch giants to date and kept 54 clean sheets.

One of Bijlow’s best moments in a Feyenoord shirt came last season when he and his teammates lifted the Eredivisie title.

The shot-stopper was part of the squad that won the Eredivisie crown in 2016-17, but played a much more prominent role last season, making 25 league appearances without injury.

Bijlow was tipped to leave Feyenoord last summer, with Erik Ten Hag prompting Man Utd to swoop for him after allowing David de Gea to leave on a free transfer.

However, Bijlow ultimately disappointed when Man Utd signed Andre Onana instead, with the former Inter Milan star having had a somewhat unconvincing debut season at Old Trafford.

Don’t miss: How were Liverpool able to line up with a triple signing and one positional change under Arne’s slot?

Bijlow could show Man Utd what they are missing by shining in the Premier League next season. Like his Feyenoord team-mates, Bijlow followed manager Arne Slot to Anfield.

Arsenal have also been linked with an eight-man international, but he would likely push for a reunion with Slot at Liverpool if given a choice between the two clubs.

Liverpool transfer: Justin Below possible transfer

In a recent interview with Dutch media, Below was asked about his switch to Manchester United falling apart. “That’s soccer too, right? “I don’t know when something will happen or not,” he said.

“They made a choice on behalf of someone else at the time. “But I’m happy to be able to play one more season at Feyenoord.”

There has since been interest in a move to Liverpool or Arsenal and Bijlow seemed delighted to be linked with a move.

“They are both very good clubs,” he said. “Of course, it’s always good to be mentioned by a big club.

“What I’m saying is: I’m ambitious. As long as I play for Feyenoord, I will give everything for it and I want to focus only on the Dutch team first.

“Should I stay at Feyenoord? You never know, right? That’s soccer. You don’t know it. I am ambitious. I’ve always said that.

“If the opportunity presents itself and a good club from abroad comes, I am open to it. I’ve always said that. As long as I have a contract with Feyenoord, it will never be a punishment and as long as I play there, I will give everything.”

Of course, Liverpool currently have Alisson in goal and he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. But the Brazilian has been linked with a shock move to Saudi Arabia, with back-up keeper Caoimhin Kelleher likely to push for a move that would see him become a guaranteed starter elsewhere.

These factors could leave room for Bijlow to feature in Liverpool’s Slot next season.
